Scope and legal basis

Petzold Immobilien works to make petzold-immobilien.de accessible in accordance with the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz, BFSG), which implements Directive (EU) 2019/882, the European Accessibility Act. The benchmark is EN 301 549 in conjunction with WCAG 2.1, level AA.

Conformance status

Based on a self-assessment carried out on 26 August 2026, this website is largely compliant with WCAG 2.1 AA. Known limitations: the generated PDF yield report is not yet a fully tagged, accessible PDF (the same figures are available in accessible form on the calculator page), externally linked services such as the booking calendar are outside our control, and some older property photos still carry generic image descriptions.

Implemented measures

Full keyboard operability with visible focus and a skip link, semantic landmarks and heading structure, text alternatives for informative images, labelled forms with screen-reader status messages, WCAG-AA colour contrast, a focus-trapped mobile menu dialog, reduced-motion support, responsive layout up to 200% zoom and correct language markup on all pages.
